Turkish Trade Promotion Office

TTPO-Turkish Trade Promotion Office was established in 1988, with the aim of promoting bilateral trade relations between Turkey and the Netherlands.

It is the first overseas branch office of IGEME- Export Promotion Center of Turkey shortly IGEME which is a non profit government organization affiliated to the Undersecretaries of the Prime Ministry For Foreign Trade.

Basic Aim

The primary goal of TTPO is to increase Turkish exports to Western Europe and especially to the Netherlands. It acts as an intermediary between Dutch and Turkish businessmen.

Target Group

Turkish exporters, mainly Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME's) and Dutch importers.

Need trade information on Turkey?

You are invited to contact our Office if you need information concerning :

• General matters related with trade, e.g. the trade environment, rules and regulations for trade and investment etc.
• Specific sector and product information, production and trade figures and market surveys,
• Companies producing a specific product or products, list of companies active in a certain sector,
• Trade fairs in Turkey, sectors, locations.

We will provide you with the information you need as soon as possible. You can also contact our Office if you are looking for trade partners in Turkey.

We will publish your inquiry in our Daily Foreign Trade News Bulletin free of charge on the following day of your contact with our Office. This Bulletin has a wide circulation among the business circles in Turkey  and reaches the subscribers through fax as well as electronic mail. We will publish you inquiry whether it is export, import or joint venture etc.

You can obtain copies of our publications  from our Office.

We keep a database at our Office of both Turkish and Dutch contacts and your name and inquiry will be included in our database for future correspondence. Through our Office you can reach the related organizations in your field of interest, in Turkey.

TTPO assists and guides the Dutch and Turkish companies planning business visits (trade missions) to the corresponding country.

TTPO distributes the promotional materials such as books, directories, brochures, CDs etc prepared by IGEME, the headquarters to the related companies and organizations in the Netherlands.

TTPO closely cooperates with trade related organizations like Chambers of Commerce, OBR(City Development Corporation of Rotterdam) CBI(Center for Promoting Imports from Developing Countries), BUVOHA(Vereniging Bureau voor Handelsinlichtingen, NETUBA(Netherlands -Turkey Business Association). Business Association). NCMP (Netherlands Management Cooperation Programme)

TTPO will also put you on the right track by providing the contact information of the related agency, government office, association or else.

We render services free of charge.
