DHB Bank (Nederland) N.V  is owned by HCBG Holding BV (70%), which was established in the Netherlands, and Türkiye Halk Bankasi A.S. (30%), a public bank whose 25% shares are listed on the stock exchange. DHB Bank has a 66.56% stake in Export & Credit Bank Inc., Skopje – hereafter referred to as EC Bank – a mid-sized Macedonian bank acquired in the second half of 2008, in which European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has a 25% shareholding.

We operate according to the regulations of the Dutch Central Bank, and have 33 offices in major cities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Macedonia (including 19 branches and sub-branches in Macedonia) and Turkey.

Demir-Halk Bank (Nederland) N.V. is an international Dutch bank incorporated in 1992 and headquartered in Rotterdam, with physical presence in Belgium, Germany and Turkey alongside the Netherlands, on top of its presence in Macedonia through its majority stake in Export & Credit Bank Inc., Skopje. 70% of the DHB Bank’s shares are held by HCBG Holding B.V., while the remaining 30% are owned by Türkiye Halk Bankası A.Ş. HCBG Holding B.V. primarily acts as a finance holding company and is 100% owned by Dr. Halit Cıngıllıoğlu.

DHB Bank (Nederland) N.V. is governed by an eight-member Supervisory Board and a three-member Executive Board, and operates under the supervision of the Dutch Central Bank.

Since its inception, DHB Bank ( Nederland) N.V. has rapidly grown into a strong, full-service financial institution. In 1993, the bank had €265m in assets, € 17m in deposits and €18.4m in shareholder’s equity. By year-end 2008, these figures had increased to €2.2bn in assets, €1.7bn in deposits and €205m in shareholder’s equity. DHB Bank holds a Ba2 long-term bank deposits credit rating from Moody’s Investor Services
